Hello and Welcome!!
My name is Ashley Vaughn. I am currently a meteorologist whose sole goal is to provide a space where anyone who needs weather coverage feels they have accurate and up to date coverage no matter how small and rural the location is! I have obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience with a concentration in Broadcast and Operational Meteorology. I am a mother to two beautiful daughters and married to my number one biggest fan, my husband!
My passion for the weather began at a young age. My mother used to tell me that by the age of 5 I was begging to watch the weather channel instead of cartoons. This is when my mom knew I was destined to become a meteorologist! Through life’s trials and tribulations, I finally accomplished my dream career in Meteorology! Now my family members can say they have a “personal meteorologist” in the family. It has proven to be very useful!

My goal in this field is to ALWAYS provide life saving information to those who are unaware of the dangers during the current weather patterns. I began to recognize a disconnect in major city weather coverage to forget to mention or provide information to the small, lesser populated rural towns in their coverage areas. This is where I began to try and build something that included those forgotten. Those lives need coverage just as much as the higher populated regions.

Since this is a new aspect to weather coverage, bear with me as I work out the kinks and grow my site to include as many small and forgotten regions as possible. I would love to one day be able to have a branch off into each state so that each corner of populated space can receive life, infrastructure, and property saving coverage.

I know I have big dreams and aspirations for what this could possibly become! But….If you have an area you feel that is not covered properly or enough during severe weather with your current local coverage, then please reach out to me with your region so I can begin to build my list of the forgotten and keep a good rotation of coverage. I could even offer personal forecasting for businesses if needed for certain seasonal events.
